Account Deletion Confirmation

Users may request deletion of their account through the account settings area or by contacting East Texas Pets.

For security, East Texas Pets may require confirmation before deleting an account. Confirmation may include entering the account password, clicking a confirmation link sent to the email address on the account, re-authenticating through a connected login provider such as Facebook or Google, or completing another reasonable verification step.

Users who created an account through a third-party login service, such as Facebook, may not have a separate East Texas Pets password. In those cases, East Texas Pets may use email confirmation, third-party re-authentication, or another verification method instead of password confirmation.
